Aster Medical is based in Canberra, the nation’s capital. As a smaller firm we service fewer clients and therefore maintain the ability to offer personalised attention to our doctors.

We offer you a personal recruiter who is responsive to your needs and is willing to address any questions or concerns you may have. If he or she does not know the answer, we will make the necessary enquiries and get back to you.

Anthony brings a range of skills to the organization, gained through his appointments in the Australian Commonwealth Government (including The Australian Department of Immigration) and various overseas appointments in the public sector as well as the private industry in Great Britain and Sweden.

Dr Pia Waldenbäck
Consultant - Sweden

Pia Waldenback has recently returned to Sweden after working as a pathologist in Australia for Capital Pathology, Canberra. Pia took 18 months leave from her current permanent position at The Pathogy Centre in Gävle to work in Australia. Pia completed her undergraduate training at the University of Uppsala, Sweden and specialist training in Pathology which was conducted at both the universities of Uppsala and Gävle in 2004. In addition to providing firsthand experience of the Australian medical system Pia can draw upon her experience of everyday life in Australia having her self relocated to Australia with her husband and five children. Klas Ingloff
Consultant - Sweden

Prior to joining Aster Medical, Klas Ingloff worked for Lund’s University for over three decades where his main responsibilities were to look after the information needs of the University and Public Relations. Klas’ educational background is in social and political science. Klas is fluent in several languages: English, Swedish and German. Klas has excellent customer service skills and enjoys working with people.

Pia Bruce
Consultant - Singapore

Pia is a former management consultant and graduate of Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Currently Pia serves as Executive Director at Aidha, which is amongst other functions a 'business school' for migrant domestic workers in Singapore. Pia is also the Treasurer for the Singapore National Committee for UNIFEM. Prior to joining Aidha, Pia managed the then Citigroup-INSEAD Financial Education Exchange for the two years. Pia also has multi-country experience in corporate change management, curriculum development and train-the-trainer course implementation.

Originally from Sweden, Pia has spent half of her life living and working overseas in various countries such as US, Singapore, Poland, and Finland. Pia has experience in relocating as a family.
